TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read over the Terms and Conditions thoroughly as they cover the information that you are required to comply with when accepting a booking at Kenilworth Accommodation trading as Kenilworth Country Cabins.

 

When a booking is made you are automatically accepting all the terms and conditions outlined here. Kenilworth Country Cabins reserves the right to change and/or modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice and those changes are effective immediately. The Terms and Conditions are effective as of 04 July 2024.

 

Arrival and Departure

Check-in and arrival time is from 2pm, keys will be available in the lock box provided. Should you require earlier Check-in we will do our best to accommodate your request if your cabin is available and ready for occupancy.

Check-out time is 10am. An extra charge may be applied if guests stay beyond the check-out time. Please note that baggage storage is not available at Kenilworth Country Cabins.

 

Cancellation Policy

To secure your booking, full payment is required.

Notice given 15 days and more before check-in: Full refund will be given, our office will refund your payment (less the $50 administration fee).

 

Notice given 7-14 days before check-in: 50% of the total booking value will be refunded,

unless booking is transferred to another time within 6 months or can be re-let. Please note peak holiday rates (eg. Easter, Christmas and Long Weekends) may apply and therefore bookings may not be possible at peak times or may attract an incremental payment.

 

Notice given less than 7 days before check-in: 100% of the total booking value will be kept unless cabin can be re-let.

 

No refunds are available for cancellations or amendments after the stay has commenced.

 

Guests that have booked through a third-party website e.g. Booking.com or Airbnb must contact the company directly to make any changes or to cancel their booking.

 

Group Bookings

To secure a booking of 5 cabins or more in one transaction will require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking and the final 50% must be paid 3 months before your stay. Group bookings cancelled with 30 days notice or more before check-in: 100% of the total booking value will be refunded. Within 30 days of check-in, your booking will only be refunded if the cabins can be relet.

 

 

Amenities

The following amenities are included in each cabin; however brand and type may change depending on availability:

  • Bedding linen, blankets and pillows
  • Kitchen tea towels, washing up liquid
  • Bathroom amenities

 Please note that amenities will be filled on arrival but no refills are available.

 

Housekeeping Services

A standard clean will be carried out when guest checks out.

If a cabin is found to be left in an unreasonable state (dirty or damaged in excess of standard use) at check-out, the guest will be charged a $250 cleaning charge and the cost involved to return the room to the standard level. This can include cleaning costs as well as replacing items.

 This will be determined on a case-by-case basis and a member of our team will contact the guest to advise of the excess cleaning.

Mid-stay cleans & a change of linen are available upon request and will incur additional fees.

Please leave the property in a neat and tidy state.

 

Bedding Changes

There may be a charge of $50 if the bedding needs to be replaced during your stay.

 

For longer stays bedding will be changed every 7 days as part of a standard clean.

 

Additional Charges

Kenilworth Country Cabins management reserve the right to charge guests for the following, but not limited to: damage of property and equipment, breakages, lost keys, missing items, late departure, extra cleaning and unpaid expenses. Any additional charges will be automatically deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking or the card that is provided as a security. The cost of additional charges will be determined by management.

 

Security Deposit and Bond

For all booking types a refundable deposit may be required upon arrival. This covers any damage or theft of the cabins and their contents during your stay.

Bond amount: $200

A review of all cabins will be conducted after each guest departs to determine if there is any damage or lost items. If the rooms are left in an extremely dirty state a cleaning charge will be taken from the bond or card provided on the booking, this will be determined by management.

 

Credit Card storage

Kenilworth Country Cabins will securely save credit card details for the following purposes:

  • Processing payments
  • Charging guests if:
  1. A tradesperson attends the property to repair an issue that is deemed to be caused by the guest.
  2. the cost to repair or replace any malicious, deliberate or negligent damage to the property
  3. those deemed responsible for damage, meaning the cabin cannot be tenanted, will be responsible for all losses no matter what period of time repairs take.
  4. the cost of cleaning if pets are identified as being in the cabin and cleaning is required.
  5. any other issues set out in our Terms and Conditions

 

 

Car Parking

Car parking is available on site. There is one parking space available per cabin. Guest carparks cannot accommodate large or oversized vehicles. Further street parking is available on Philip Street and Mary Street.

By entering and parking on-site you are doing so at your own risk. Kenilworth Country Cabins does not accept any responsibility for damages or loss to your property or belongings.

Street parking, when available must follow local authorities and we accept no responsibility if you choose to park off-site.

 

Credit/Debit Card Pre-authorisation

Kenilworth Country Cabins reserves the right to pre-authorise your credit/debit card on the day of the booking. This process is put in place to protect the cardholder and merchant from fraud. We may pre-authorise any amounts we deem that you may make during the stay, this includes an amount to cover the security deposit/bond. These amounts may be held for up to 7 days. For further information on this please contact your bank or card provider.

 

Commercial Filming and Photography

All commercial filming and photography are not permitted to be undertaken at any cabin without the written approval from Kenilworth Country Cabin’s Management.

 

Security Cameras

Please note that Kenilworth Country Cabins runs security cameras for safety and security. These are located in public areas including driveway and entryway. 

 

Damage/Theft & Breakages

The registered guest on the booking will be held accountable for any damage to the cabins and contents that takes place during their stay. This includes any damage on the grounds/common areas of Kenilworth Country Cabins. This also includes the damage caused by any person visiting a guest of Kenilworth Country Cabins.

Breakage and/or damage of furniture or furnishings must be reported to management immediately and management reserves the right to charge the guests credit card for any damage caused by a guest and/or guest’s visitor. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between cabins. Any moved items may be regarded as missing and additional charges may be incurred if all items are not in their original location.

 

 

Emergency Service Fee

The registered guest agrees to pay for any Emergency Service call out fee that is charged for a false alarm. This can include smoke alarms.

 

Smoking

In the health interests of staff and other guests, smoking is strictly prohibited on site. If you wish to smoke, you must do so outside of the property. Traces of smoking in room: will incur a $500.00 fee plus additional costs of cleaning soft furnishings may be added if deemed necessary by management.

 

Advanced Bookings 

Kenilworth Country Cabins will not guarantee or confirm any booking made 365 or more days in advanced. These booking are possible, but rates and availability may not be guaranteed. If you would like to book beyond 365 days, please contact Kenilworth Country Cabins directly.

 

Lost keys

Unreturned keys will be charged to the credit card supplied. A charge of $100.00 will apply if a key is lost as a locksmith is required to replace locks.

 

Bunk Beds

Top bunk MUST NOT be occupied by guests under 9 years of age.

 

Failure to Pay

In the situation where the guest fails to pay for the room upon demand including any amount owing that has been incurred during the stay e.g. damage, cleaning, Kenilworth Country Cabins reserves the right to deny access to the guest and ask them to vacate the premises.

 

Group Bookings

Group booking must be booked directly with Kenilworth Country Cabins’ management.

 

Guest Courtesy

In order to make all guests and surrounding neighbours happy, we ask that noise be kept to a minimum especially after 9pm so that all guests can enjoy a relaxing stay. We request that all visitors leave Kenilworth Country Cabins premises by 9pm each night. Please respect the surrounding neighbours and guests during your stay.

 

Insurance & liability

 Kenilworth Country Cabins are not responsible for, nor do we provide cover for your personal belongings. We take no responsibility for any loss or damage to any personal property left on the premises and you agree that you will make no claim against us for any damage or loss to your personal property irrespective of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

 

UNACCOMPANIED MINORS & MANDATORY AGE REQUIREMENTS – guests must be 18 years of age to book a cabin, any guest under the age of 18 will be considered a minor and must be accompanied by a responsible adult that will act as legal guardian during the stay at Kenilworth Country Cabins

 

Right to refuse entry

Kenilworth Country Cabins reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, including where guests have previously acted in an inappropriate manner or breached our terms and conditions.

 

Pet policy

Pets are not permitted at Kenilworth Country Cabins. If you bring a pet onsite this will be considered a breach of our terms and conditions, and you may be asked to leave or to remove the animal. The only exception to this is Guide, hearing and assistance dogs.

 

Maximum capacity level for cabin

All stays must be used for private/residential use only and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation. No functions or parties may be conducted at the property.

Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in a termination of booking and you being required to vacate the property immediately without refund. Charges for additional guests will be debited to your Credit Card without further notice. If the amount owing is above the amount held you hereby accept this liability.

 

Internet

Free Internet is provided to guests during their stay at Kenilworth Country Cabins. Please note that due to the regional location of the cabins the internet speed may be reduced or slow during peek times.

 

COVID Cancellation Policy

In the event of any government lockdowns or travel restrictions, we can hold a credit for a future stay. If you are unwell, self-isolating or in quarantine, we ask that you please contact us as soon as possible and we can move your stay to another time

 

Eviction of guests

Kenilworth Country Cabins reserves the right to evict any guest or visitor without warning and where necessary notify the police. The reasons for evection may include but are not limited to:

  • Any incident where the police are called to the premises
  • Intoxication or inappropriate and unlawful behaviour
  • Deliberate damage to property
  • For any reason where the safety of others is put at risk
  • Physical or verbal assault to anyone including other guests, staff and the general public
  • Ignoring advise given by staff or others to reduce excess noise
  • Smoking on the property
  • Exceeding the maximum capacity level of the cabin.

 

 

Breach and Agreement

You agree that should you or any of your guests breach the terms and conditions:

-you will pay the total loss and damage suffered by us, as a result of such breach;

-you hereby authorise us to debit your credit card or apply your deposit monies against any loss or damage or additional charges;

-you acknowledge that we may evict you and/or your guests without notice.

Payment of Deposit or Full Payment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
